If we talk about Spanish cuisine, first of all we want to talk about tapas. Tapas are small snacks that are very popular in Spain. Each region has its own, special tapas, and there are classic ones – those that are always sold everywhere. Mallorca is also Spain, so tapas are on almost every menu. And it’s also easy to find establishments there that specialize in tapas. They are small cafes where you can order a couple of tapas and a drink, and sit all evening, enjoying the good weather and good mood. Today I will tell you about the tapas I have tried during the week. I would have loved to eat more, but, alas, there is a physical limit to the amount of goodies I can eat.)

Tapas are easy to find on the menu by price, even if you don’t know Spanish. They tend to be much cheaper than regular meals. The reason is simple: they are small snacks.
Perhaps the most popular tapas in Spain, which can be found in any region, is Potatos bravos. Translated as “brave potatoes”)) These are potato slices cooked in spices. They are served with a very spicy sauce. The sauce is really spicy, so if you don’t like spicy food, don’t risk it.
Another common dish is grilled green peppers in sea salt. These, unlike potatoes, are not spicy at all. They are served in large portions and are eaten unnoticed))
Tortilla. A very simple potato dish. A kind of casserole. Delicious, despite its simplicity.
Croquettes come in different kinds, with different fillings. As a rule, there is cheese inside. Then there are many options: bacon, spinach, etc.
The nachos we all know so well. It’s a great option for long gatherings. They come hot, covered in cheese, with different sauces. You can eat them for a long time…
Mallorca often offers squid in batter as tapas. The calamari are the freshest, just melt in your mouth!
Just like in Italy, you can eat a variety of bruschettas here. With hamon, of course!)
